The move to Nashville and partnering up with Jack Hale (producer, Johnny Cash) has focused Lou Vargo`s songwriting moving him closer to the spirit of Townes, Clark, and Earle. Vargo, the former frontman for rough-and-tumble Texas roots rock band Four Mile Mule, delivers a crisp EP of emotionally revealing, personal songs. His weathered voice perfectly accompanies his reflective tales and acoustic guitar. The goal with this release, according to Vargo, was to create a handful of great songs, as opposed to getting enough music to fill an album.
