Description:
Toronto-based singer/songwriter Tony Dekker brings on a dreamy and mellow acoustic sound that finds a midpoint between Neil Young and Bread, but presents it with the contemporary lo-fi feel of Will Oldham`s Palace project or Lou Barlow. Awash in heavy, reverberated open space, the music, as Vit Wagner of the Toronto Star notes, "relies on a delicate combination of voice and acoustic guitar -- lightly colored by piano, accordion, lap steel and a low, choral hum of crickets -- to create an incomparably intimate relationship between music and listener."
