Originals include "William Blake meets Lee Perry" and "Jangle Bells". Christmas as a commercial nightmare in "Toys that Kill"; a tribute to the tragically murdered 9 year old Florida girl in "Jessica"; and "A Charlie Brown Christmas," which you can listen to anytime of the year. Thats part of the reason behind the title Before and After Christmas. The cover design spoofs Enos Before and After Science. Guaraldis use of non traditional Christmas music inspired Love Tractor to include a tribute to Syd Barrett. Christmas is important for children and somehow "See Emily Play" fits as Guaraldi does Pink Floyd. As fans of the Residents, they also covered "Santa Dog" and "Dumbo the Clown".
