Like its spiritual (and actual) predecessor, Grainbelt infuses their country with the ragged glory of cowpunk. The album is loose, giving the feeling that it poured from the band, like a satisfying draft beer. What they lack in studio polish is more than accounted for by swagger. This is music to drink fight and have fun with. Howe Glassman`s impassioned vocals sound like a man who is telling you the best story you ever. You can hear the grin in his delivery. This is glorious roots-rock from the punk side of the Americana family tree. -- Jeff Weiss, Miles of Music (Kranepool)
