This is Blaze Foleys last studio CD recorded before his untimely death in 1989. This the country CD that he always wanted to make. Blaze Foley was a wonderful singer and a great songwriter. Songs written by him have been recorded by Merle Haggard, John Prine, Willie Nelson, Townes Van Zandt, Lyle Lovett and many other artists. This CD contains eight of Blaze Foleys original songs and two cover songs, one by Calvin Russell and one by Jubal Clark. The songs on this CD were thought to have been lost after his death. After 15 years of being lost, these recordings surfaced and have now been digitally mastered. (Deep South Productions)
