Combining whimsy and harsh reality in equal measure, Mark Oliver Everett ("E") and his band have been connecting with and engaging audiences all over the world with their stunning live show. E has notoriously presented he group with an unpredictable, ever-changing back line of musicians. This time around his 7-piece band finds four of its number as a string quartet; two violins, a viola and a cello. Two multi-instrumentalists juggling lap steel, guitar, upright bass, mandolin, musical saw, melodica, celeste, pump organ, piano, a trash can and a suitcase percussion set cover whatever E can`t urge from his own guitar. This DVD boasts eight songs that are not included on the CD version.
