The sound of Royalchord compliments dark, spaghetti Western skies at dusk, seedy dens of intrigue and imbibery, and lonesome corners of the human heart. The founding members of this Aussie group, Tammy Haider and Eliza Hiscox, write, sing and play resonant songs of melodic, emotional and textural depth. Royalchord, although alike in some ways, are edgier than the Cowboy Junkies and more charged than Transmissionary Six, and fall into the mix with this hauntingly beautiful collection of sad dappled tunes.
