There is a primal sorrow in this release that flows like a molten lava, occasionally erupting through the surface of this country-R&B gem. Based in Portland, OR Drunken Prayer join the baritone-molasses vocals of Morgan Geer with a horn-filled, honky-tonk honey-dripping that sounds emotionally raw, fresh and timeless. This is saint and sinner stuff full of passion and pain. Geer, Miss Audra, Keith Richard McCarthy, and Kevin James Still are looking to exorcise demons.
